Cotswold Rowing Club concentrate on "sculling" as opposed to "sweep oar" rowing, and this allows us greater flexibility to ensure our rowers get out on the water.
Our club was formed in late 2006 to provide a host club for the new Cleveland Lakes complex in the Cotswold Water Park between Cirencester and Swindon. We are based on the same site as Waterland Outdoor Pursuits, which is:- Lake 32, Keynes Country Park.
Cotswold Rowing Club are a friendly and welcoming club. For us, it's not all
about serious training: we love it when our teams/individuals win, but we're just as enthusiastic about our groups that simply meet for fun.
We don't differentiate between our members. Anyone is welcome to join us. Our trainers are team members just like anyone else and will be happy to tell you more about the activities we
offer and help you find the place and boat that's right for you.
We're always happy to welcome new members who are interested in joining in with club activities, helping us organise events and being part of our community.
