01/12/2012: After last weeks flooding and unsafe weather, we are pleased to be able to get out on the water to row.
24/11/2012: Unfortunately, rowing had to be cancelled today due to local roads being flooded and unsafe weather. Sorry :-(.
03/11/2012: The weather has turned MUCH colder. Make sure you wear appropriate clothing and headgear accordingly (i.e. warm, light layers and a woolly hat).
15/09/2012: Today we held Capsize Training for all members that had not done this before. This is an important part of the saftey procedures we have in place, and is for the safety of all members to ensure that they know how (and are able) to cope, should they capsize.
01/09/2012: Thank you to all those that attended the "Adults Only Taster Session" today. We hope you enjoyed yourself, and that the session gave you a "feel" of what rowing is like. We look forward to welcoming you to our club.
27/08/2012: Congratulations to Martin Patterson on making it to the final at the Ross Regatta today.
11/08/2012: Thank you to all the new people who turned up today for their very first sesssion. We hope you enjoyed yourselves and look forward to seeing you at the next session.
29/07/2012 - 05/08/2012: Various members were at Eton Dorney, watching the Olympic Rowing regatta. Truly an "oarsome" experience. Great racing and the atmosphere was amazing. Fantastic crowd support was given to all the competitors. Truly a privilege for us to be there.
23/07/2012: The "Junior Rowing Club" has started today. Sessions are every Monday, 6pm-8pm.
07/07/2012: Today we were pleased to welcome Desiree Palmer from "Rocket City Rowing Club" in Huntsville, Alabama. She was on a short visit to the area, and joined us for a row on our lake.
